Latest HiRes brings Dublin and Wicklow into the strongest windfield later this afternoon and tonight. This is in addition to coastal counties of Munster and south Connacht.
Very strong mean wind speeds expected coupled with violent storm force gusts in exposed areas.
Take care on roads this afternoon and evening. Localised spot flooding likely
Expect cancellations and diversions to Irish airports. High sides vehicles should travel with caution.
Do not approach piers, cliffs and headlands.
