BETTY AND THE BABY BOOMERS 30th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT, 8 PM, November 12,2016 at WAMC'S Linda, Albany.
Betty and the Baby Boomers have been playing some unique and rewarding shows lately: playing 1940s era songs at the torchlight parade re-enactment at the FDR home in Hyde Park and some of our favorite river songs at the Hudson River Environmental Society awards dinner. And coming up this Saturday is a Phil Ochs Song Night at the Doctorow Center high in the Catskills in Hunter, NY - we love singing Phil's songs and hearing stunning versions by other performers.
That said,the high point of November for us will be our 30th anniversary concert - a full night of Boomer favorites at the Linda, WAMC's Performing Arts Studio on Central Avenue in Albany, including songs from our new album and as many of our old favorites as we can pack into two sets. We did our 20th anniversary show there to a full house; it was a wonderful night and we're hoping that as many of our friends and fans as possible will turn out for this celebration to make it just as memorable.
