The wild Atlantic Way

The spellbinding Mizen Head in Cork is Ireland's most southerly point. Cross the iconic bridge to the Fog Signal Station then look out to the horizon to admire Fastnet Lighthouse. It stands on a rock known as Ireland’s Teardrop, so-called because it was last part of Ireland that many 19th century Irish emigrants saw as they sailed to North America.
