Cnocan Duin , mon Mont Analogue

Cnoc an Dúin, once was crowned by a stone fort which was later robbed to build the ruined Bunowen Castle to the north of the hill . That mansion was built by Art Geoghegan after he had lost his lands in the east and transplanted west during the Cromwellian era stone from the older castle and church was used in the building of the new mansion .The older castle was home to Dónal an chogaidh and his wife Gráinne...
